Fig. 55, the shown being according to an eighth embodiment, Fig. 58 shows in a perspective view a fourteenth embodiment of a device or a hinge according to the invention, Fig. 59 shows a perspective view from one side an eleventh embodiment of the third hinge part and Fig. 60 shows in a perspective view from one side a twelfth embodiment of the third hinge part.
With the reference numeral 10 in Figs. 1, 2, 3, 20, 21, 23, 25, 43, 44, 51 and 52, a hinge is shown for preferably exterior doors, such as exterior doors for villas and residential apartments. The hinge 10 comprises a first hinge part 1, a second hinge part 2 and a third hinge part 3, the first hinge part 1 and the second hinge part 2 being connected to each other by means of a hinge 4.
The first hinge part 1 has a first side edge 11, a second side edge or edge portion 12, which faces or connects to the hinge 4, through holes 13 for anchoring means and a through-opening 14, which is keyhole-shaped, a further part 44 in the through opening 14 faces the hinge 4 and the second side edge 12 or edge portion, while a narrower portion of the through opening 14 faces the first side edge 11.
The second hinge part 2 has a first side edge 21, a second side edge or edge portion 22, which faces or connects to the hinge 4, through holes 23 for anchoring means and a through-opening 24 for passing a part 41 into a securing means 18. As can be seen from the said figures, one of the through holes 23 for anchoring means can be arranged in one or more fastening ears 25, which can for instance be flap or ear-shaped and in the material of the other hinge part 2 punched and downwardly bent material parts.
The third hinge part 3 has a first side edge 31, a second side edge 32, which is intended to face the hinge 4, through holes 33 for anchoring means for anchoring the hinge part 3 in a base, through holes 35 for receiving the anchoring means, to be supplied to the through holes 13 in the first hinge part 1 and a through hole 38 provided with thread 39 for anchoring the said securing member 18. In Figs. 4-8, which show some embodiments of third hinge parts 3, the said details are shown.
The third hinge part 3 is intended to abut with a first side against a base, such as an edge recess 6 in a side edge portion 15 of a door 5 and with a second side to face a first side of the first hinge part 1. The said first side edge 31 of the hinge part 3 is intended to face the said edge recess 6. In the absence of a third hinge part 3, the first hinge part 1 is intended to abut with its said first side against the base or the exemplary edge recess 6 in the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 and with its said first side edge 11 be facing the said edge recess 6. The second hinge part 2 is intended to abut with a first side against a base, such as an edge recess 8 in a frame 7 or according to the example a door frame and with its said first side edge 21 facing the said edge recess 8. 1 or along the first side edge 31 of the third hinge part 3 of the hinges 10, which have been shown in said figures and which are also present in the two hinges The embodiments of hinges 10, shown in Figs. 26 and Figs. 56 and 58, respectively, are arranged or formed one or more projections 9 intended for engaging in or with the base of the hinge part 3. In Fig. 13 the hinge 10 according to Fig. 1 is shown. 3 arranged to a door 5 and a frame 7 and in Fig. 55 the hinge 10 according to Figs. 56 and 58 is also shown arranged to a door 5 and a frame 7.
Said projections 9, which extend at an angle to the extension or blade of the third hinge part 3, may consist of, for example, one or more flange-shaped projections 9, 19, see Figs. 4 - 7, which are intended to engage in recesses 26 in or in connection to designed edge recesses 6 in the base or in the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 and thereby side surfaces 16 having a distance from the base or door 5 or consist of, for example, one or more tab-shaped projections 9, 29 and thereby preferably designed as pointed tabs 29 for penetration in the material of the substrate or in said edge recess 6 in the door 5. To facilitate such penetration, said flaps 29 can have an edge or edge-shaped tip in their free end 30, see Fig. 8. In Figs. 9 - 11 a cross section through a of the edge recesses 6 present in a side edge portion 15 of a door 5 on the hinge side, for receiving a first and a third hinge part 1, 3. In the edge recess 6 in Fig. 9 two or more grooves or recess 26 for receiving said flange-shaped projections 9, 19 and in the edge recess 6 in Fig. 11 such a groove or recess 26 for receiving a said flange-shaped projection 9, 19 is accommodated, while the edge recess 6, as shown in Fig. 10, lacks such a groove. or such said grooves 26 or the like and are intended for one or more such said tab-shaped projections 9, 29 intended and intended for penetration into the material of the base or door 5. Furthermore, in the above-mentioned and shown edge recesses 6 there is a further recess 20, which is arranged for receiving a pin 40 or pin end having the said securing member 18. Said pin 40 has a thread for thread engagement with the above-mentioned through hole 38 in the third hinge part 3.
Fig. 12 shows a cross section through one of the edge recesses 8, which is located on the side edge portion 17 of the smooth frame 7, for receiving a second hinge part 2. In the edge recess 8 or the recess recesses there is a recess 28, which is arranged for receiving the above-mentioned part 41 in the said securing means 18 and which is constituted by a head 41 which projects from the surface of the first hinge part 1 and which upon closing the device or closing the exemplary door 5 will extend through the above-mentioned opening 24 in the second the hinge part 2 and is occupied by the recess 28.
In the exemplary embodiments of the hinge 10 which have been mentioned so far, there are adjusting means for lateral adjustment of the door 5 in the frame 7. The adjusting means consist of threaded pins 47, which are in threaded engagement with the first hinge part 1 in order to be screwed under a hinge part 1. i.e. according to the exemplary embodiments shown, the third hinge part 3, which in this case can have positions 49 or abutments, for example in the form of depressions, the abutment and position of the pre-adjusting pins 47 against the hinge part 3. The grip element 48 may be an in-six opening for an in-six key. When laterally adjusting the door 5, the door 5 with the third hinge parts 3 can be caused to be displaced relative to the first hinge parts 1 in the hinges 10, whereby a distance in the form of a gap can be provided between the door 5 or its third hinge parts 3 and the first hinge parts 1 in the hinge 10.
In the case where the second hinge part 2 has such fastening ears 25, as have been mentioned above and shown in exemplary embodiments ii in the above-mentioned figures, the hinges 10 shown except for the hinges 10 which have been mentioned and shown in connection with Figs. 26, 55, 56 and 58 and which do not have mounting ears 25, there is in the edge recess 8 of the frame 7 against the number of mounting ears 25 a corresponding number of recesses 51 for receiving and placing such mounting ears 25, see Figs. 13 and 32. Corresponding recesses 51 in the edge recess 8 of the frame 7 are present. of course also with a hinge 10 of the type shown in Figs. 14-16 and which is formed with fastening ears 25. This hinge 10 also comprises a securing means 18 as before but this securing means 18 is not anchored in a third hinge part 3, when such is missing according to the embodiment shown, but may be anchored in the door 5 or with a fastening member arranged in the door 5 and thereby suitably by means of a threaded engagement.
The securing means 18 is included in a so-called rear edge securing and comprises in addition to an anchoring part or as previously mentioned a threaded pin 40 and a head 41, which has a bevel 42 at the free end, see for example the securing means 18 in Fig. 2. The bevel 42 can facilitate the insertion and / or guide the head 41 through the opening 24 in the second hinge part and into the recess 28 in the frame 7. It should be noted that the securing means 18 with anchoring part or threaded pin 40 and head 41 can be arranged in the second hinge part 2 or in the frame 7 for engagement and passage in the first hinge part 1 and in the door 5. However, there are advantages in that the securing means 18 is arranged as appears from the exemplary embodiments. Thus, the actual assembly of the door 5 in the frame 7 and which will appear below is facilitated. Furthermore, there is a grip element 43 in the free end of the head 41 for engagement and grip with a tool, see Fig. 3. The grip element 43 can be constituted by an in-six opening for an in-six key.
The further part 44 in the through-opening 14 in the first hinge part 1 is arranged sufficiently to be able to pass the head 41 of the securing means 18 through the opening and the narrower part in the through-opening 14 is sufficiently narrow to prevent the head 41 of the securing means 18 from being passed through. the narrower part of the opening but sufficiently wide to insert and receive its pin 40. lvi.ao the head 41 of the securing member 18 will in the operative position face and abut against the surface of the first hinge part 1 to otherwise extend through the opening 24 in the second hinge part 2 and into the frame 7 and its said recess 28 in the edge recess 8.
Due to the presence of the securing means 18 in a so-called Rear edge protection is understood that the device or hinge 10 is primarily intended for doors and then especially for exterior doors, but as will appear below, the device and hinge 10 according to the invention can also find application for mounting and use in, for example, windows.
The device or hinge 10 according to the invention may also comprise adjusting means 45 for height adjustment of the door 5 in the frame 7. Thus, all the hinges 10 which have occurred through the embodiments shown but also the other hinges 10 in the embodiments shown, i.e. also the hinges in Figs. 27 - 30, 33 and 34 and 47 - 48 have been shown with such an adjusting means 45 for height adjustment. The adjusting member 45 is located in the hinge 4 and preferably at both its ends and has for gripping and gripping with a tool gripping element 46, see for example Figs. 1 and 2, 27-30 and 58. The gripping element 46 can be constituted by an in-six opening for an in-six key.
For easy handling and adjustment of the device or hinge 10, at least the gripping elements 43, 46 in the head 41 of the securing means 18 and in the height adjusting means 45, respectively, can be of the same type and design so that one and the same adjusting tool can be used.
As can be seen from, for example, the embodiment of a hinge 10 shown in Fig. 21 according to the invention, the second hinge part 2 can also be provided with projections 9 in the first side edge 21 of the hinge part 2. The projections 9 can be similar to the projections shown and described above. 9 for the first hinge part 1. As an example it is shown by Fig. 22 that in the edge recess 8 of the frame 7 there are arranged grooves or recesses 27 for receiving projections 9, 19. Otherwise the frame 7 corresponds to the one previously shown and described in Fig. 12. first embodiment of the frame 7.
Attempts to try to break loose a hinge 10 mounted in an exterior door with a crowbar and also with other breaking tools in a device according to the shown and described first embodiment of the hinge and the device showed that the safety had increased markedly by the hinge parts 1 and 3, which are mounted in the door 5, could not be broken loose. The second hinge part 2, which is mounted in the frame 7, has a relatively good anchoring through b | .a. the presence of the inclined, angled fastening ears 25, which allow the possibility of attachment and anchoring of the anchoring means further into the frame 7 and in a more strongly dimensioned part of the frame 7. In further experiments with a hinge 10 where also the second hinge part 2 was provided with projections 9, as shown and described in connection with the embodiment of the hinge 10 shown in Fig. 21, reference also being made to the frame 7 shown in Fig. 22, it was found that the safety had increased by between 30 and 40 percent. One reason for the surprising result may be that when using such breaking tools, attacking the hinge 4 of the hinge 10, when the hinge 4 is the only accessible and visible part of the hinge 10, the abutment of the breaking tool material - usually wood - in the door 5 and the frame 7, whereby the breaking tool presses the door and frame material against existing projections 9 of the hinge 10. The more you take in with the breaking tool, the more you press against existing projections 9. It also turned out in the experiments that it was completely impossible to break the hinges 10 with breaking tools and forcing through the door and unlawful intrusion can thus be prevented.
Essential of the device and the hinge 10 according to the invention is that any protrusions 9 or other folded material edges in the hinge parts 1, 2 and 3 are not visible and especially not at a closed and locked door, as this indicates an point of attack and a while for a breaking tool in experiments. to unlawful intrusion. In addition to the fact that existing projections 9 and the like are not made visible, it is an advantage from a safety point of view that the projections 9 and the like are arranged so that they are located as far into the material as possible and in engagement with the door and frame material.
Notwithstanding the mentioned surprising results in the tests carried out, further safety-enhancing designs can of course be made of the devices in question without departing from the idea of the inventive idea. Thus, the third hinge part 3 can be provided with further projections 9, as can be seen from the embodiment shown in Fig. 20, as well as the second hinge part 2, as can be seen from the embodiment shown in Fig. 23, whereby reference may be made to Fig. 24, which , as an example, should show that in the edge recess 8 of the frame 7, grooves or recesses 27 can be arranged for receiving the projections 9 of the hinge part 2. Corresponding recesses 26 in the edge recess 6 of the door 5 can also be made for further projections 9 of the third hinge part 3. Of course, both the second and the third hinge part 2, 3 can have additional projections 9, as can be seen from the exemplary embodiment shown in Fig. 25, whereby suitable, additional recesses 27 and 26 can be formed in frame 7 and door 6, respectively, for receiving the projections 9. Otherwise, the hinges 10, the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 and the side edge portion 17 of the frame 7 can be designed as previously shown and said. The same applies to the exemplary embodiment shown in Fig. 26, except that due to the presence of the projection 9 in the first side edge 21 of the second hinge part 2, the hinge part 2 can be anchored in the frame 7 by means of the usual screw connection, the through holes in the hinge part 2 for the anchoring means across the plane of the hinge part 2, ie. that one avoids arranging such through holes in designed so-called mounting ears 25.
As has been seen previously in connection with the mention of the embodiment shown in Figs. 14-16, the device according to the invention is also applicable to simpler types of hinges 10, such as when the third hinge part 3 is missing. In this case, the projections 9 are arranged on the first hinge part 1 instead of on the third hinge part 3. According to the mentioned embodiment, for simplicity only projections 9 are shown in the first side edge 11 of the first hinge part 1. Furthermore, the adjusting means 47 for laterally adjusting the door 5 are missing. in the absence of the third hinge part 3. Otherwise, the hinge 10 can be said to correspond to the first embodiment of the hinge 10 shown and described in Figs. 1-3, the edge recesses 6 in the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 will of course be thinner in the absence of the third hinge part 3. , see Figs. 17 - 19. If a securing member 18 is present in the hinge 10, the area of the recess 20 is further adapted to the necessary anchoring of the securing member 18, but according to the example the recesses 6 are formed in the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 as before.
This can be compared with the corresponding and previously shown embodiments in Figs. 9-11 for accommodating the first embodiment of the hinge 10 shown in Figs. 1-3. In Figs. 27 and 28 another such above mentioned and shown simpler is shown. hinge of hinge 10 and which lacks the securing means 18. In order also to show that the invention is applicable, it is shown that a projection 9 has been arranged or formed in the first side edge 11 of the first hinge part 1. The same applies to the hinge 10 shown in Figs. 29 and 30. and where the anchoring of the second hinge part 2 in the frame 7 is intended to take place by means of the usual screw connection, the through-holes 23 in the hinge part 2 of the anchoring means being located opposite the plane of the hinge part. Of course, the second hinge part 2 of the two hinges 10 can also be arranged with one or more projections 9. The hinge 4 of the two hinges 10 can also consist of a simpler but no less durable type of hinge and without adjusting means 45. The two hinges 10 finds use in a variety of different contexts and also as a hinge for windows, for example. An accessory frame 7 adapted to the accessory iron is shown in Fig. 31 and shown in a cross section through one of the edge recesses 8 in the frame 7. In the presence of fastening ears 25 there are recesses 51 in the edge recess 8 of the frame 7 to provide position for the fastening ears, see Figs. 32.
In the embodiment of a hinge 10 according to the invention shown in Figs. 33 and 34, it is shown that the second hinge part 2 has arranged or formed projections 9 in the first side edge 21 of the hinge part 2. the hinge part 1, which has one or more projections 9, is formed with additional through holes 53 for additional anchoring means. Fig. 35 shows that the edge recesses 8 in the frame 7 are arranged with recesses 27 or groove-shaped recesses for receiving projections 9, see also Fig. 36. According to the shown and described exemplary embodiments of the hinge 10 according to the invention, said projections 9 are thus located or located in the said first side edge 11 or 31 and / or 21 of the hinge parts 1, 3 resp. 2 or located partly in said first side edge 11 or 31 and / or 21, partly a distance from said first side edge 11 or 31 and / or 21 and said second side edge 12 or 32 and / or 22 or its or their said edge portion . Since the device and the hinge 10 according to the invention to a further extent also comprise that one or more projections 9 are arranged or formed in the said first side of the first hinge part 1 or the third hinge part 3 and / or the second hinge part 2 and thus arranged to stretch from its or their side surface, it is of course not excluded that projections 9 are only located or located a distance from said first side edge 11 or 31 and / or 21 and said second side edge 12 or 32 and / or 22 or its or their said edge part, i.e. only in the area between said first side edge 11 or 31 and / or 21 and said second side edge 12 or 32 and / or 22 or its or their said edge portion.
Furthermore, said projections 9 in the form of one or more flange-shaped projections 19 and / or tab-shaped projections 29 extend parallel or substantially parallel to said first side edge 11 or 31 and / or 21 at and / or at a distance therefrom.
When utilizing the invention, the question is what degree of security one wants to achieve in order to prevent someone with tools from improperly trying to break in through, for example, a door. To return to the more developed hinge construction with e.g. a third hinge part 3, the previously shown and described embodiments of the hinges 10 can be further designed. Thus it is shown by Figs. 37 and 38, which show examples of the design of third hinge parts 3, that the hinge parts 3 can be provided with through holes 34 additional to the through holes 33 for anchoring means for additional anchoring means for anchoring the hinge part 3 to the door. 5 caps 6.
A hinge 10 is anchored in edge edges 6 arranged or formed in the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 by means of anchoring means, such as screws. In the presence of a third hinge part 3, which is to be located below a first hinge part 1 and abuts with a first side against the edge recess 6 and with its second side facing a first side of the first hinge part 1, the third hinge part 3 must have through holes 35 so that the anchoring means of the first hinge part 1 can be screwed into the door 5. As mentioned above, the third hinge part 3 can be provided with additional through holes 34 for anchoring means to increase the degree of anchoring of the third hinge part 3. It also has mentioned above that the first hinge part 1 can also be provided with additional through holes 53 for additional anchoring means with the intention of increasing the degree of anchoring of the first hinge part 1. In the presence of a third hinge part 3, it must be provided with additional through holes 36 in order to the additional anchoring means for anchoring the first hinge part 1 must be able to be screwed into the door 5. Such additional heels 36 in the third hinge part 3 and the ordinary through holes 35 in the third hinge part 3 for the anchoring means of the first hinge part 1 can according to an embodiment of the device according to the invention constitute fastening elements for the anchoring of the first hinge part 1 in the device.
According to an embodiment here, the said through holes 35 and 36 in the third hinge part 3 are provided with a thread 37 or other gripping element, see Figs. 39 and 40, for coupling means for connecting the first hinge part 1 to the third hinge part 3. At such a said design is provided with said coupling means, for instance screws, pins, pins or the like, with suitable thread, whereby the first and third hinge parts 1, 3 can be connected to a unit. Experiments with produced specimens have yielded surprisingly positive results with regard to increasing the degree of safety. The embodiment of the hinge 10 shown in Fig. 43 and which for the sake of simplicity is not shown in a door frame assembly, wants to show that it is possible to let the third hinge part 3 be well anchored in a base using such mentioned, additional through holes 34 for additional anchoring means for anchoring the hinge part 3 to 11 the edge recess 6 of the door 5, while the first hinge part 1 is intended to be anchored in the threads 37 shown in the through holes 35 of the third hinge part 3 with only a pair of said coupling means. In experiments, this design has been shown to provide a fully satisfactory degree of safety in certain uses and in others in conjunction with other measures.
To further increase the degree of safety, it is advantageous to arrange so that the projection 9 or the projections are located as far into the door 5 as possible. The embodiment of the hinge 10 shown by Figs. 43 and 44 is actually intended to show an example of a hinge 10 adapted for this purpose. Thus, the first and third hinge parts 1, 3 have been designed wider or so wide that the projection 9 in the third hinge part 3 becomes located in the door 5 adjacent to its rebate S0.
Thus, the edge recesses 6 for receiving hinges 10 in the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 are formed extending to the door seam 50, see Figs. 45 and 46.
For a rational production of, for example, doors 5, the edge recesses 6 in the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 are milled out with rounded corners. The same also applies to the edge recesses 8 in the frame 7. Therefore, the hinge parts 1, 2, 3 have rounded corners. According to the mentioned embodiment, when the hinge parts 1, 3 are allowed to extend to the door seam 50 with the edge recesses 6 passing through the side edge portion 15 of the door 5, the hinge parts 1, 3 can be formed with straight corners instead of the rounded ones, see for example Fig. 42, 47 and 51, which show wider shaped third and first hinge parts 3, 1 with straight corners.
In this case, projections 9 in the first side edges 11 and 31, respectively, of the first or third hinge parts 1, 3 can also extend along the entire length of the hinge 10, see also the recess 26 in Fig. 46 or in the presence of projections 9 in parts, see the recesses 26 in Figs. 45.
Figs. 51 and 52 show another embodiment of a hinge 10 according to the invention in which the first and third hinge parts 1, 3 are of the wider type and that the first hinge part 1 is intended to be anchored in the third hinge part 3 and in its previously mentioned fastening elements or threaded holes 35, 36 and by means of said coupling means, which according to this example are to be four pieces. In other respects, this hinge 10 also corresponds in design essentially to one of the starting models of the hinge 10 shown (Figs. 1-3). Of course, as in several of the previously shown embodiments, the second hinge part 2 can or should be designed or provided with one or more projections 9.
The third hinge part 3, shown in Fig. 53, wants to show that a projection 9 in the hinge part 3 can be designed higher so that it engages with a larger surface in the door 5, see also Fig. 54. In addition to the hinge part 3 being off the wider model and intended for a first hinge part 1 with straight corners, the design corresponds to or substantially with the third hinge parts 3 shown in Figs. 39 and 40, i.e. with b | .a. thread 37 in the through holes 35 and the additional through holes 36 to constitute fastening elements for the anchoring of the first hinge part 1 in the device and to the third hinge part 3 by means of said coupling means.
As has been apparent from the various design proposals, the part or parts of the hinge 10 to be anchored in a door 5 should be well secured from a safety point of view, so that the part of the hinge 10 to be anchored in a frame 7 could be considered as the weaker part from a safety point of view. Fig. 55, however, shows an embodiment of a device and a hinge 10 according to the invention in which the anchoring of the hinge 10 in the frame 7 is fully satisfied, which will be appreciated by a person skilled in the art.
Thus the second hinge part 2 has a projection 9, 59 or an anchoring flange, in which one or more holding means or holes 54 provided with thread 55 according to the embodiment are arranged, see also Fig. 56. The projection 59 has of course a corresponding function in the hinge 10, as the projections 9, 19, 29 shown and described previously, but according to this embodiment also an anchored reinforcement in the device for the second hinge part 2 and the hinge 10. In the frame 7, see Fig. 57, in addition to the usual edge socket 8 for the hinge part 2 and the recess 27 for receiving 12 of the projections 9, 59 of the hinge part 2, one or more bores 58 are formed from the inside or back side 57 of the frame 7 opposite the previously mentioned side edge portion 17 of the frame 7. and to the recess 27 for receiving anchoring means, which according to the exemplary embodiment then consist of fastening elements, screws or the like provided with a conical head. In order to be able to break loose or otherwise unduly loosen a mounted hinge 10, it is required that in addition to the frame 7 part of the building is demolished. Thus, in this embodiment it should be superfluous to anchor the second hinge part 2 in the frame 7 with all the previously mentioned and usual anchoring means, so that only a pair of through holes 23 for such anchoring means should suffice, see Fig. 58.
As can be seen from Fig. 59, the first hinge part 1 can be anchored in the usual way in the door 5 by means of anchoring means through the through holes 13 in the first hinge part 1 and the through holes 35 in the third hinge part 3 or by means of said coupling means for connecting the first the hinge part 1 with the third hinge part 3 anchored in the door 5 and thereby by exemplary thread engagement with the threads 37 in the third hinge part 3, see Fig. 60. The third hinge part 3 is anchored in the door 5 in the usual and previously mentioned manner by means of anchoring means by the through holes 33 in the hinge part. The examples do not exclude that the first and third hinge parts 1, 3 are anchored with anchoring means through several through holes or through the previously mentioned additional through holes 53 resp. 34.
Otherwise, the present hinge 10 can correspond substantially to what has appeared in connection with previously shown hinges 10, such as for example the one shown in Fig. 51, which is, however, shown with existing fastening ears 25 and with additional through holes 53 in the first hinge part. 1 and then also with additional through holes 36 in the third hinge part 3 for the anchoring means of the first hinge part 1 and according to the example in the form of the said coupling means. Even with a simpler design of the hinge 10, such as in the absence of e.g. the third hinge part 3, the first hinge part 1 can be designed wider so that existing projections 9 will be located far into the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 or adjacent to the door seam 50, the first hinge part 1 can be formed with straight corners if so desired, see Figs. 47 and 48, which want to show an example of such a hinge 10 according to the invention. In this case, it may be suitable to provide the first hinge part 1 with additional through holes 53 for anchoring means. Figs. 49 and 50 show the edge recess 6 adapted to the said hinge 10, which, according to the exemplary embodiment, then extends to the door seam 50 with the recess 26 or the recesses 26 for any projections 9 in the first side edge 11 of the hinge part 1 adjacent to the door seam 50. It can be seen from Fig. 50 that the projection 9 of the hinge 10 shown extends along the entire length of the hinge part 1 but can consist of two or more projections 9, as can be seen from Fig. 49.
It is essential that any projections 9, 19, 29, 59 of the hinge parts 1, 2, 3 are arranged or designed to engage with, for example, a door 5, in or adjacent to the edge recess 6 for receiving the hinge 10, at a distance or as large a distance as possible from at least the side surface 16 of the door 5, which is or is intended to be facing outwards, i.e. accessible and visible from the outside of the space which the door 5 is intended to close and, where appropriate, to intervene with a door frame 7 in or adjacent to the edge recess 8 for receiving the hinge 10 and thereby at as great a distance as possible from the frame 7 said side edge portion 17.
Said projections 9, 19, 29, 59 are preferably constituted by one or more material portions bent in said first hinge part 1 or said third hinge part 3 and / or in said second hinge part 2, which are brought to a stretch perpendicularly or substantially perpendicularly. against the said first side of the hinge parts 1 or 3 and / or 2. The material portions preferably consist of material present in the hinge parts 1 or 3 and / or 2 in the area adjacent to the free side edges of the hinge parts 13 and thereby to form the side edges 11 or 31 and / or 21 shown by the figures in connection with existing projections 9, 19. , 29, 59 or consist, where applicable, of punches made through the material of the hinge parts 11 or 31 and / or 21. Protrusions 9, 19, 29 produced by punching in the material of the hinge parts 11 or 31 and / or 21 consist mainly of almost tab-shaped projections, for example tooth-shaped projections or shorter flange-shaped projections or the like. The projections 9, 19, 29, 59, which can be formed by bending, spraining or the like, can be made after or in connection with the design of the hinge parts 1, 2, 3 or in connection with one or some possible punching in the hinge parts. It is of course possible to design the projections 9 as separate details and arrange them to the respective hinge parts 1 or 3 and / or 21 during the manufacture of the hinge 10 or to otherwise prefabricated hinges 10.
In addition to the first hinge part 1 covering the third hinge part 3 and its anchoring means and thereby being inaccessible, the hinge 4 covers any points of attack in the hinge 10 or its said hinge parts 1, 2, 3. Another advantage from a safety point of view is that the securing means 18 where applicable, is anchored in engagement with the third hinge part 3, the securing means 18 being better anchored in the hinge 10 than is usual. Furthermore, the hinge 10 and then also the said hinge parts 1, 2 and 3 are formed of high-strength material, such as of a steel quality suitable for the purpose.
Prior to an assembly of a device according to the invention, i.e. hanging a door 5 in a frame 7 according to the exemplary embodiments shown and described, each of said edge recesses 6 of the door 5 is provided with a third hinge part 3 each with a securing member 18 anchored in the hinge part 3. In each of the edge recesses 8 of the frame 7 is anchored a second hinge part 2 with a first hinge part 1 adjoining via the hinge 4, i.e. the remaining part of a hinge 10. During assembly, the door 5 is supplied with the said first hinge parts 1, each of the securing means 18 present and projecting in the side edge portion 15 of the door 5 being fitted in a intended first hinge part 1 by inserting said head 41 of the securing means 18 through the said further part 44 in the through-opening 14 in the first hinge parts 1 so that the door 5 hangs in the first hinge parts 1 and thereby in the said pin 40, which the head 41 of the safety means 18 has. If the door 5 is then released, which is the intention, the door 5 will by its own weight automatically slide on the pins 40 through the openings 14 and to a position where the door 5 hangs in the first hinge parts 1 with the pins 40 in the said narrower part in the through-opening 14 in the first hinge parts 1. The door 5 hangs of its own weight in the position in the narrower part in the first hinge parts 1. This facilitates the mounting of a door in a frame, as said mounting or hanging can be performed by only person , which after hanging has both hands free to b | .a. supply anchoring means for anchoring the first hinge parts 1 to the door 5, carry out any position adjustments of the door 5 in the frame 7 by means of any adjusting means 45 and / or 47 and securing the position of the door 5 in the frame 7 by final tightening of the first hinge parts 1 anchoring means, the door S is anchored in the first hinge parts 1 and to the frame 7.
The hinges 10 shown and described are in themselves an independent product for mounting and use at, for example, doors and windows, but the device is also intended for interaction with a door or a window and a door or window frame.
